A somewhat beat-up Yardley shaving soap bowl.  I'll soak the label off and use the covered bowl, which means I'll just have to buy another soap....

Ive got a sight unseen vintage straight coming from Whipped Dog tomorrow, along with a balsa strop, some chromium oxide powder, some iron oxide powder, and a travel strop.

With the new Naniwa stones, and the balsa strop, my edge maintenance should start coming along very well...

I got a set of Naniwa Super Stones in 220 (part of the set, not for razors), 1k, 5k, and 10k. My hard ceramic does a fantastic job of polishing after the 10k, but Im gonna pick up the 12k super stone as well...

The set did a reqlly nice job of fixing an uneven bevel and chip on my Taylor Eye Witness half hollow as well this weekend. It was shaveable, but I took down to dull, ground out a chip, evened up the bevel, and went from scratch. It will be shaved with tonight, and I am expecting good things as it is MUCH sharper than it was before...cleaner edge too! Its a lot more work with a half hollow than a full or extra hollow...a LOT more worknnn

Nothing special but 40 NOS Schick twin injector blades

I ordered 9 samples of PAA aftershave colognes. This is a great deal for trying the scents. I paid 99 cents each plus $1.50 shipping.

Elliott Cosper, in a way, anything NOS is special. Smile

Hobbyist, PAA samples are the way to go when it comes to finding out more about their products. I’m glad they offer them, and wish other makers would do something similar. (Some do, of course, but not very many.)

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”
