I'm awaiting two custom Carbon Shaving razors from Sean:

Adamas
This has a chromium-based DLC coating with a jet black color on the Damascus steel. The coating is applied and then hand sanded to reveal the contrast of polished metal with the carbon black coating. Its base plate has an open matrix web structure with 'lightening holes.' The sanded finish is smoother than that of the Damascus model.


Cx-Graphite Titanium
The color of this DLC coating is a shimmering 'grey rainbow' (which can be seen a bit in the last image). The razor's base plate also has the open matrix web structure.

I just ordered up some Passiflora from B&M. I know this was kind of a unicorn for a long time, so I'm looking forward to both the scent and trying the newest B&M base.

Omnibus quite good

Well, I've been trying to ratchet back buying and been successful until one of my favorite slant razors popped up with just the head and a variation I don't have. I was sent an offer which I countered and was accepted.


I just happen to have the handle he was missing to complete the razor. That gives me 2 out of the 3 versions. I may NEVER find the 3rd which is a rare push button model but ya never know.........

Had received these like a couple of weeks ago, but had it addresed to a friend's address that lives in the States and she couldn't bring these to me until today.

It's 6pm and haven't shaved  so guess it's gonna be a SOTN
