Waiting for four more NF brushes that will help to fill some gaps in my little collection.
Three of the five New Forest wooden handle prototypes that Peter ever made (I know Hodge has one so that leaves one floating around somewhere....)
Apparently the reason why these weren't put into production was that Peter couldn't find a cost effective way to waterproof them in a way that he was happy with.
In the photo below (from left to right):
- 22mm 2 band in an Oak handle,
- 2 band in an Tambootie handle,
- 22m silvertip in Tambootie, and
- a 1901 (which may be the very first 'travel brush' size that he made)
Will post some more photos when they arrive....
