In his answer to my email question, James said to watch the "Availability" tab on his website. It is there that he will state exactly when he's open for reservations on his "Wait List" again. His estimate is sometime during the month of January or February.

Thanks.

Now that I have gone through all of the blades that I ordered back in the fall from Try a Blade, I have made my choices of blades that I shall keep in my den Happy So I just put an order in of blades once more that should last me a decent amount of time, along with a 5 pack of a kind I didn't try before Big Grin

20 Kai Stainless Steel

20 Persona Med Prep

20 Voskhod Teflon Coated

5 Polsilver Super Iridium

I really enjoyed the shaves I got with the top three there, they worked in all my razors for me, plus I still have a ton of GEM PTFE blades as well for my GEM G-bar. I've heard good things about the Polsilvers as well, so here's hoping!

Once these arrive, I'll be set for a while to come Cool

EDIT: Oh, and I still have at least 20 Shark Super Chromes kicking around lol

I have one of the earlier New Forest brushes (the 2201) and I realy like it. It has not left my rotation since I acquired it. It's a shame that he shut down production.

That coral rod stock that Bernd has is amazing to my eye. Well done John!
I have one in a fan knot, you won't be disappointed.

Got a brush in transit that has been bouncing between local post offices for some time now... Hoping they'll get bored with that soon and actually deliver it.
