Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

To be honest, Matt, I was flying blind on my choice of handle to head. Maggard Razors has a sale on right now that offered the head with a choice of genuine iKon handles. A couple of the handles were sold out and I don’t own a bamboo shaped one. A friend of mine has been singing its praises so I thought I would give it a try. If the combination proves to be too heavy or unbalanced I can switch it out with any number of handles from aluminum to other stainless models.

I have some more of the original Acqua di Parma shaving cream (soft soap) coming for backup.

Some newer formulation Acqua di Parma soft shaving soap. I have been curious to compare this to the original gold lid Colonia version, so I am going to alternate the two for a week, using the same brushes and razors, and see if I can discern any differences.
And a Boellis Panama 1924 coffret, with soap. I've already had some of the soap for quite a while, and it's been begging for a coffret.
