Beautiful brush! Congratulations! I have received a very similar brush a couple of weeks ago. The knot is superb, but unfortunately the black pigment started washing off the moment the brush got in contact with water. I used an old soft tooth brush and removed the pigment completely, which was not difficult at all. I then let the brush dry and applied a triple layer of tung oil on the entire handle. The handle looks sharp again and there is no black stain on my hands anymore Smile

A jet black Georgetown Pottery GP20 scuttle. It's not like I really needed another scuttle, but I've never had a black one, and the price was good.
