I just ordered a bunch of exotic hardwood blanks for making scales...Birdseye maple, cocobolo, zircote, zebrawood, rosewood, red palm, and a few I don't remember off the top of my head.
I found a place that sells inlay blanks that are 1/4" thick and 3.5" X 9" for about $2-4 each....

A new to me Delta Echo Gillette Tech in Jay's Steampunk theme (I love the black chrome and copper look!).
I also won the bids on two Old Types that need some love. One has a large crack in the handle, and the other has a small crack and some crooked teeth. Both are 1918, and being a bit of a history nut currently focusing on the time between the Wars, these razors just called out to be mine.
Here is a snap of the bad handle

I regretted selling my vintage Crabtree & Evelyn Sweet Almond Oil shaving soap pucks, so I bought some again to put back into my rotation, to make superlather with the matching shaving cream. Now I'll have to sell the Harris Almond soap I had been using.
