Pentax K-5, usually.

Here is my small Pentax collection sans my K5 which took the picture after my teeny weeny itsy bitsy Canon Power Shot A 12000 proved that it was not up to the job.

Very nice collection of cameras!  Is the one camera a Pentax a ME Super?  If so it is better shape than mine.  My first SLR was the ME Super and I took it all over and finally wore out the shutter.  That was a great camera.  My very first camera was a Brownie Hawkeye.  My original camera long ago disappeared but I found this on eBay and couldn't resist.

The two ME's are not supers. Just plain, ordinary ME's.
But they are still super(b) cameras.

Once I did some pictures of 2 hobbies I have - razors and cameras. Too bad these cameras require a lot of time to use them. They are just great.

Those older cameras with the expanding bellows are really neat. They also made you learn the techniques behind photography. There was no photoshop, ISO52,000, or instant feedback of being able to review the picture.

Strangely enough, many press photographers did not utilize all or even a few of the methods available to them with these remarkable "press" cameras.

They would use one aperture, setting the focus at the hyperfocal distance and use flash almost all the time at or close to a distance that would give them the proper exposure. If it was off they would correct in the darkroom by over or under developing either or both the negative and/or the print.

They also relied on the latitude of the black and white film which was not very wide in those days.
