What are your top 5 soap bases?

1. Zingari Man Sego
2. A&E Kaizen
3. 345 Soaps Trinity
4. Tallow and Steel
5. ???? Could put many here: Noble Otter, Murphy and McNeil, Barrister and Mann, etc.

I'm ready to update this for the foreseeable future:

1. Zingari Man Sego
2. Barrister and Mann Soft Heart
3. A&E Kaizen
4. 345 Soaps Trinity
5. Murphy and Mcneil

Outside looking in for the first time in ages: Tallow and Steel. Why? All of the above outperform them for me, and with Tallow and Steel moving from 4oz for $25 to 3oz for $25 since I've purchased anything from them, my run with them has come to an end.

Well, looks like I'll just be sticking with Ethos for awhile then lol. I do want to try the Colonia...

I just ordered a Colonia set from Pasteur last night! Lavender was not really for me. Even though it is a perfect lavender scent I have a hard time getting over my association of the scent with cleaning supplies.

Succes is incredible. Excited for colonia.

Curious how you like the Ethos Colonia?

EDIT: After using Fenomeno for the first time in a while today, I would put it at the top. Phenomenal for lack of a better word!

never heard of fenomeno before but I quite like the artwork on their soap labels.

After a lot of experimentation....I’m now using just the four bases which work best for me...
In rank order of preference...
1. Eufros (current base)
2. Tallow + Steel (current base)
3. Ethos
4. Talbot [v2 base preferred over the newer v3]

I'm really liking Eufros and now checking out some Tallow and Steel scents too.

I don't own many soaps, so my selections may not be as good as others:

1) DG Milksteak
2) A&E Kaizen
3) B&M Excelsior
4) Catie's Bubbles (not sure it has a base name)
5) Southern Witchcraft (not sure it has a base name)

I've got a Catie's Bubble that the scent mostly faded, bit I'm impressed every time I use it. Just something about the Catie's, even though I've got plenty of fantastic new soap bases.

You have some very good soaps to look forward to on your untried list.  The only ones I haven't tried are caties and 345.  All the rest are absolutely top tier.

Southside is right. Your list is very similar to mine: u r going to love eufros, tallow version of M&M, and T&S!

Scents for those are tricky for me. Another one worthy of SAMPLING is Sir Henry- hidden gem.
