Exactly what the title says!

LOVE a product that's generally looked down on? Too embarrassed to post SOTDs when you use it (or intentionally omit it)?

For me it's Dollar Shave Club's Dr. Carver's Post Shave Balm - absolutely love that stuff.

Post yours here so we can all share in each others' shame!

I really can't think of anything. If I like it then I use it, chat about it, and show it in my SOTD photos. If I don't like something then I simply don't use it.

I'm in line with Freddy's thoughts. If I don't like it, I don't buy it or use it.

I don't believe I have any! I enjoy all of my products and I am not hesitant to display them. Shy

It's funny because I like my old Gillette's TTO's. Looking at the SOTD pictures and seeing the really nice razors and posting one with a plain Super Speed is like showing up at a Ferrari get together driving a '72 Dodge Coronet with bondo on the front quarter panels (my first car).

I'd be darn proud of those TTOs, Cincinnatus, and display them with pride.  Vintage razors, brushes, soaps, aftershaves, EdTs and even blades are the very backbone of our hobby, in my opinion, and are beautiful in their own right.  I happily shaved with my 1930s Gillette short comb NEW this morning and my reward was a beautiful, irritation free, and nick free shave.  The best that the newest, prettiest, and shiniest razor can do is equal that but not better it.

Show those Gillette TTOs with pride.  They're still around and being used for a very good reason. Happy2

I second this! My most-used razor is a replated NEW long comb, and I fully agree with Freddy - fancy new razors can give a comparably good shave, but not better.

I love it!  Me on the other hand, being raised by a French Canadian, Catholic mother, have trouble believing that I deserve such pleasure as my morning shaves give me and that it isn't in some way sinful. But as Billy Joel said, I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saintsSmile  Sorry mom.  I wonder if I have to come clean about my shaving at confession?  How many Hail Marys would that get me?Confused

I'm never ashamed of the products I chose to use to share them. Wet shaving is highly personalized what I like to use might not be something someone else chooses to use.
