What aftershave splash/balm did you use today?

Chatillon Lux Blackberry Blossom Bay. The scent is incredible, but it lit me up for a good 30 seconds after application! After it calmed down, the face feel is awesome just like all other CL products. I must be sensitive to one of the fragrance components. I'm going to give it another try or two, but somebody who missed out and wanted to get this might have an opportunity to do so on the B/S/T soon. We shall see...

Was this toner or aftershave? And a 30 second light up sounds like a good thing Like the smell of napalm in the morning

Jovan Musk + vintage Pierre Cardin aftershave, a good combination. The sweetness of the PC complements the musk really well.

hawns, I could almost guarantee that it is the cinnamon. I've used sandalwood A/S before with no burn. It's not necessarily the worst thing in the world. I like the scent enough to power through it. It's a very interesting and creative take on bay rum (sans rum). I just want to try it a couple more times to make sure it won't have any ill effects on my skin.

Marko, I got the aftershave. I typically like a little alcohol burn, but this was straight fire! Like I said, it's gotta be the cinnamon. I had a sample of Stirling bay rum before and got the same reaction. With that though, I thought it was the clove oil.

wyze0ne And who knows, maybe it's cinnamon and clove. Hopefully not, but who knows. I personally get a slight reaction from both (and nutmeg, as well), but luckily it's not nearly as bad as yours.
