What aftershave splash/balm did you use today?

Clubman Reserve "Cognac Neat" Aftershave Lotion

I am finishing up my bootleg mix of Lime Bay Rum and Clubman Reserve Brandy Spice.  Cognac Neat has me interested.  Would you kindly give us your opinion on this?  Also, if you have used Whiskey Woods or Brandy Spice (two of the Reserve lotions I am familiar with) that would be helpful.

I actually get very little "boozy" elements with this splash. It's there, but tobacco is what I smell most. There's also a sweet, musky element to it. Great scent overall and I love the way my face feels using it.

Yeah I have the other two you mentioned. I like Whisky Woods (with this one I do get that boozy / woody note) as well as Brandy Spice (great boozy, spice accord with some citrus notes). My favorite though among the "Reserve" line is Tequila Tease. Great summer time scent with lime, citrus, coconut and light florals.

Sigh........so many wonderful aftershaves to try, so little life to try them. I really wish that there was a great brick and mortar wet shave store in every city where you could sample this stuff. I guess The Art of Shaving (or whatever it was) tried.

I think I will have to get serious about buying some sample size bottles. I wish that the Clubman website would offer a "sample pack" where you could get a half dozen of the airline sized bottles at a discount price.
