Today was an electric shaver day, to rest up from my Shavette adventures. So I just used a splash.

I made a homemade WH splash this time and it came out very nice.

Jamolay’s Black Pepper and Lime

Not likely coming to market, but I am happy about it.

The hardest part may have been getting the hot spice small out of the bottle! I learned a technique to do that!

It is a “casual” recipe without measurements (so anything I mention is very roughly). I also used 90% isopropyl alcohol, because I had it. In the future I would use ethyl.

Grated skin from one medium to large lime soaked 1 month in 1/3 cup alcohol.

3 tbs whole pepper then crushed coarsely soaked 1 month in 1/3 cup alcohol.

These were then combined for convenience in a jar of “lime/pepper” alcohol extract.

4 oz plain witch hazel
1/2 oz “lime/pepper” extract
1/2 oz aloe/glycerin product I had on hand (unscented and has a mix of other stuff)

That is it. Actually ratios may not be accurate. I did by scent.
