Nice! Looking forward to receiving mine (should be delivered Fri 1/17). I think I'll soon have have a Stork titanium handle to try out on this as well (haggling with a friend over multiple pieces of various-hobby stuff to swap/trade).

In case you couldn't tell, photography is not my thing...  Anyway, home early today and retrieved this from the mailbox.  H&SCo. describe this as "machine finished."  If that's so, I am seriously wondering what high polished means to them, LOL.  I mean, the finish on this looks pretty darn flawless to me.

EDIT: Also, does anyone have a recommendation from where I could source more of the nylon washers like the ones that come with the N075? I've tried looking at places lime Amazon, and even assuming I could find the right size, looks like I'd need to buy in bulk of 100 pieces, hahaha.

Nylon # 10 washers from your local hardware store.

Gotta get the new handle. Right up my ally in length and looks awesome with the polished head which I already have.

The HS075 Neutral is a beautiful razor and I love the new handle. I have not found one poor review of how this razor shaves. I own both the Razorock GC .68/.84 and the Lupo in stainless & aluminum. Those RR razors are all very comfortable and smooth "autopilot" daily shavers at very low cost (under $100). I have a couple of questions, which are very subjective, and may help non-collectors decide if this razor is worth their purchase.
Question 1: Is the shave "quality" (efficiency and smoothness) worth the additional cost for this razor ($120+), forgetting the gigantic quality and finish difference?
If not, I understand that the design and finish beauty, makes the HS075 worth the cost to collectors.
Question 2: Is the larger head of the HS075 a (handling and maneuvering under nose) disadvantage, when compared to the smaller GC and Lupo heads?

This is a beautiful razor which I will purchase, but my questions pertain to "shave quality" versus lower cost products on the market. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

My 2nd shave with the H&S N075 was just as good as my 1st shave. No drama shave and the H&S was on ‘Cruise’ control. Mindless calm and relaxing shave after a hard & cold day at work. TGIF

The build quality of the No75 puts the GC and Lupo to shame in my opinion. I sold both of my GC SB’s but kept my GC Jaws. I think the GC OC plates are superior to the SB plates but the H&S bests them in every way! The shave is better and more efficient and the head, although larger, is still incredibly nimble. Just my opinion.

Just finished my first shave and WOW!

/The end.

j/k  That was nice.  The epitome of smoothness, IME.  I have not used an RS-10, but for me, this is the experience I'm after.  I'm glad the guys demanding ultra blade feel and hyper efficiency are rich in options these days, but I'm also appreciative of the fact that the N075 is an attainable, available option for guys like me.

I'm bad at reviews (know this from my days being neck deep in high end audio), but I don't bother typing even this little unless I feel strongly one way or the other.  ***THANK YOU to the various members who took the time to share their experiences with this razor, giving me the motivation to learn more, communicate with H&SCo. and ultimately purchase.***

The handle is longer than I prefer, and I wish I hadn't sold all my handles, especially a UFO that I had purchased 2nd hand.  I think I'll look at some handle makers and see what I can get in an 85mm handle.

That's very nice, Mark. Hard to tell a difference, if any, in the photos. How about in person, they identical?
They are very close James, I have them hanging side by side on my storage rack and they look like they are a matched pair.

Calling your razor/brush stand a "storage rack" is like calling an Aston Martin a "car" Smile
