I shave every morning after my shower.  I moisten my face with warm water and apply a pre-shave conditioning cream (Proraso), lather up, and make my first pass (wtg).  Lather up again and make my second pass (sideways grain), lather up again and make my final pass (atg) with a little buffing.

Do others apply additional conditioning cream along with a lather between passes, and do others apply additional moisture before the next lather and pass?

I basically just wash my face before I start shaving. I don't personally use any creams, pre-shaves, etc. In between passes I do add more lather. And before adding the lather, I do wet my face down a little bit again. Just water in the hand and hit my face with it. I pretty much never add anything for touch ups. Residual slickness from the lather is usually quite sufficient.

For me it really depends on the razor.  Normally I mix my lather up first, then wash my face with a glycerin base pre-shave (PAA, Stirling, Pears, etc.) and leave it on, face lather to mix the pre-shave with the lather for couple of minutes, shave, and rewet my face only after the 1st pass as I use a very hydrated shave lather.  However, when I use my Pearl K2 or Muhle R89 razors I have to rewet my face after each pass and cannot "buff" since these 2 razors are so efficient for me.

I'm actually curious if I need to rewet after my first pass. I might try that now to see. The PAA Tube 2.0 I use does add a some great slickness to the shave. Thinking as I'm typing this, I don't believe I rewet after my last pass when I do buff. The leftover lather and residual slickness seem to suffice.

No pre shave creams or oils here, just a wash. I use a water bottle with a fine mist and spray my face down between passes.

I rinse after each pass then re-lather for the next.

Soap (Caprina Fresh Goats Milk Soap) and water during a hot shower before. Scrub with a terry face cloth until it squeaks.
No pre-shave products.
I re-lather between passes.
No rinsing between passes, unless I have to resort to a styptic pencil.

I do re-wet my face between lathers, using my wet hand to smear any remaining lather around before applying more with the brush.

Rinse/re-wet between passes. Also refresh the lather on the upper lip and chin area as I leave that area to last and I want sufficient (ie, lots) lather there as those whiskers are toughest.

I water down between passes but dont rinse off.  Just wet my mitts and rub my cheeks, then apply lather that’s already in the brush.  I like my second pass to be wetter and thinner lather that’s super slick
