We need a car/automotive section

Not necessarily for repair or maintenance guidance. There are plenty of other sites for every single make and model for every vehicle ever made. I'm just thinking for general show and tell and conversation items. Nothing specific or too in-depth.

Just a suggestion. It doesnt seem like a car topic would fit under any of the current headers.

See, that's a good topic right there. Corolla and Camry are the most "American" cars built in the US today using more domestically produced parts than any other American manufacturer.

I can show you my modified 2000 Ford Ranger that I've been driving since 2006. It just rolled over 213,000 miles last week and still runs like a champ. The damn rust is starting to take its toll. It still looks pretty good for its age though.

OK, here are pictures of my old truck, my new truck and a cool truck I happened to drive by so I stopped and took a picture.  Its an International Harvester, mine are Fords.

Nice, practical working truck. You have no idea how hard it was to sell my old truck. A friend was interested in it and I put him off for a long time. I have a reputation for maintaining my vehicles. Eventually I figured I'd scare him off by asking an unreasonable price for it. He paid it I have visitation rights.
