Looks like pretty interesting concept. Charcoal Goods designed 3 new safety razor heads for WCS.
Probably all will have different aggressiveness and use same top cap.
The first one is called Lithe and already available in WCS. It is mild/mid aggressive razor.
It is only $9.99. I ordered one, just wonder.

There is no info about that but probably Zamak, since it is only for $9.99.

This is a great razor and price if it shaves anything like CG lvl 1 or 2

Honestly, I am more wondering its aggressive model.
It may be lighter than CG SS Lv3. Hope it might be smoother.

I ordered one too. It resembles the plastic Alfa Razor from Czech Republic with a triangle shaped head. That razor is one of my favorite that does not get used too often because it is made of plastic. the shape of the head guided you to use the proper angle much like the PAA AES razor guided you to use a slant angle. I look forward to getting it. At $10, it got to be Zamak, but who cares, at $10 you can easily replace it if it fails. Because it is a standard three hole design, you could probably mix and match most base plates with it (except for a CG base plate).

I don't understand what the upside is for CG. He has built a premium brand, building premium razors, for a premium price. Why would he put his name on a $10 zamak head? Head scratcher to me.

It only says its "designed" by CG... I would doubt it highly that the heads would either carry the CG brand or even be mfg'd by Brian. I would bet they are made in China to specs that Brian wrote up.

From the pics, nowhere is there a CG marking on it. As mentioned previously, Brian probably had an idea and gave WCS the rights to do what they want with it.

Unlike the thread on the Gillette Heritage that got way out of hands with details and opinions, just accept this as an unusual razor head design, buy it because it cost slightly more than a Burger King Meal Deal and judge it by it's shave qualities.

BTW - on another forum, WCS confirmed that it is chrome over zinc alloy.

That was my figuring as well. Still doesn't explain the "why". I dont see any positive for Brian.
