They are! In general as the Schick's move down the alphabet they get more mild. There are a few exceptions though

The G3 is still here. The E series depends on if you want one in a box or not.

No worries about the box, just want the razor in best shape, or, if you have a preference, the best shaver. I understand there can be a wide variation in how the Es go about their business. If they're about the same and folks think there is advantage to the non-fixed spring, then I'd go with that.
