I have a brand new Razorock Stainless steel slant up for sale, $140 US shipped.  The price is firm.

$18 for Paypal fees and shipping??

PayPal is probably about $5

USPS priority would be $7

Also,when I sell something I eat the paypal fees although I do add shipping.

PayPal calculator puts the fees at around $7-$9 bucks and shipping small package with insurance is a solid $9 bucks.

I will split the PayPal costs, new price is $143 on a razor that is currently not in stock. So..if you want it now $143.

With all due respect, there is not much mystery about PayPal fees. They are about 3 percent.

I just looked in my account and saw where I sold an item for a PayPal payment of $160. The PayPal fee was $4.97.

I have no problems with your asking price, just trying to clarify the PayPal fee structure.

Hardtop01, PayPal fees should be rolled into your asking price, if you want them back.  This avoids confusion, misunderstanding, and controversy.  What you ultimately decide to charge for your item, including fees and shipping, is up to you.  Whether or not your item sells at your total asking price is up to perspective buyers.

I was trying to be as transparent as possible about the price, but sometimes there is nothing wrong with just posting the price. I have posted items before and not a mention or argument about the PayPal fees...

So I will adjust the ad to reflect a $143 shipped.
