Sounds reasonable. According to the interwebs (which is never wrong, of course), Bogart's favorite fragrances were Creed Tabarome and Acqua di Parma. But I doubt those were available to Charlie Allnut in German East Africa in 1914. Maybe shea butter? And just as a side note, I came across this ad while looking:

Maybe Charlie just used straight fuel oil? Some people think thats what Bay Rum smells like already. I saw the Casablanca soap, I think the scent sounds interesting but I'm not sure about the soap base. I have a couple of the latest PAA soaps that I haven't got into yet and I'd want to be sure they worl for me before i go getting any more.
