Waiting on my Fatboy Revamp

Should be getting my fatboy I sent out to get revamped in Rhodium at Razor Emporium sometime by the end of the month. The waiting is killing me already can't wait to post up pics of it

I currently have a Fatboy and my birth year Slim getting the Rhodium treatment also

Though I have no long term experience with rhodium revamps, I own a couple and unless you wish to keep the razor absolutely as original, it sure seems the way to go. Good luck with it!

Ya that's the hard part. I've had 4 revamps done there over the past year and the quickest I got one back was 6 weeks. Usually it's been closer to eight.

I would like to see the pictures also. Like Hector I also have the birth year slim and would like to get it revamped at some point.

Wow I guess I got my fatboy in just at the right time. Mine was $99

I had them do 4 heirloom razors in Rhodium a year ago and each one was $67.5 (they gave me 10% discount for sending 4).

I was considering sending another razor that also belonged to my grandfather.  Its an old style open comb with a ball end handle but it looks like Rhodium is $169.  The price went from 75 to 169 in a year.  Unbelievable a 2.25 times increase.

170 for replating? whoever pays this much for replating services needs to have his faculties double checked. Oh noes but its Rhodium.... get out of here!
