What happens when you can't find those anymore?

The Polsilver is the exact same blade only with newer & different packaging.
Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.” “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.

I’ve alternated days, split the face in half. Different blade. Wizamet’s are smoother and last longer.
Sorry, but the Gillette man on another forum verified it as have countless Internet SxS tests.

Let me explain why I started this thread. I learned about Voskhod Teflon Coated Razor Blades, the price was very inexpensive so I asked if anyone had any experience with this blade. It appears that several of you had. In addition, preidy offered to send me some. I got my hands on some and wasn’t really satisfied. I currently use the following blades some of them for several years.
Personna Platinum
Gillette Silver Blue
Gillette 7 O’Clock Super Platinum
Pol Silver Super Iridum
Perma-Sharp Super
Merkur Platinum
I also tried Kai Stainless. I used one twice and have never used them again. I find that Japanese blades are far too sharp. Extremely sharp blades are not for everyone. Blades are a personal object

For some reason, I just don’t get along with Voshkods at all. I have tried them in multiple razors, and always swap them out quickly. It is entirely possible that I don’t allow enough time for them to break in, but there are other blades that work well for me when new and continue to work well over multiple shaves.
The blade that confuses me is the Astra SP. Many consider it to be very sharp. I find it to be very smooth with no tugging, but not very efficient. It’s my cruise-control blade of choice, but not a daily driver because it needs too much buffing.

If at first you do not like the performance of a blade it will not get better in time. I do not believe there is such a thing as breaking a blade in. If you do not like the first shave you will probably not like the second of fifth. You are right there are dozens of blades out there when you like one on the first shave, keep it.

Yea, I don’t know how a blade gets better. Seems physically impossible. Edge gets more dull with every swipe.

Shave Sharp, Look Sharp
That's not necessarily true. The testing at Refined Shave shows many of the blades getting sharper initially. This is presumed (but not proven) to be caused by wearing away the coating/plating at the edge, exposing the sharper edge of the bare steel. Regardless, I'm not interested in using my face for that purpose.
