That I did, Clayton! Pretty awesome stuff!

Easy to whip up, had enough for 4 passes and no dissipation like the current recipe. Great post as well.

Only bummer was that there was little, if any, scent.

Cost me $11 on EBay, but I feel it was worth it.

It was worth it. Everyone ought to try the vintage soaps atleast once. The thick creamy lather is hard to beat. I can lather the newer version of Williams but it sure doesn't mirror the older version.

Just think, that Williams was manufactured in a very different world in all ways with crisis and players on the world stage long forgotten. It sat in some drugstore now Laundromat, religious center or pizza parlor until bought by someone with no less thought than we grab a coffee and bearclaw today. For the usual reasons without plan it went unused but waiting down the years and finally sold yet again. You have it and like a seed lying dormant for years in the desert it meets water and blooms.
Enjoy

Just looking through these old threads and I have to say that I have never seen this packaging for Williams before. Any idea on the time period?
