I don't have a collection and maybe not really a "den" just a items that I like. My first purchase a Merkur Futur set, the Razorock Black Mamba, Razororck Stealth Slant and Razorock Baby Smooth I acquired later. I have a Moss scuttle and just got a Dirty Bird scuttle. I'm a "newbie" when it comes to double edge razors and still trying to get the technique sorted out.

Derek, that is a classy little setup. You'll get the technique sorted soon enough so enjoy what you have. Just remember that there is plenty of shaving equipment, soaps, balms, etc. if and when you are ready to grow. Have fun on the journey. Happy2

That's a killer collection of razors you got there for a "newbie"!

I absolutely agree- very tasteful collection. If I had started and found early some of the razors that you have in your collection I may have just stopped. Also, I am not a scuttle user but that Dirty Bird is beautiful IMHO.

Well done.

Hi dsittler, thats a fine looking set up - for a newbie you sure were adept at acquiring some hard to come by razorock razors. I have the Black mamba and it is becoming a favourite. So smooth and comfortble. I have the same two scuttles as well although in different colour schemes and I love them, the moss has a bigger water reservoir and lathering bowl but the Dirty Bird has nicer lines - I love them both.
Enjoy,
Mark

Thank you to everybody, I did a lot of research before each one of my purchases. At this time I have 4 different soaps: TOBS sandlewood, Caties Bubbles Celtic Knot, Razorock XXX and Grim Blades Smolder. I like to keep things simple starting out that way get used to how each item works. Unfortunately it takes me at least 3 days to grow what someone might call a beard and that would be a stretch!!! I don't get to use the stuff with the frequency of most people. I've watched many videos and read plenty in this forum to help me which is awesome. This is a really great place to go because of the many members that have much more experience then me. I don't post much right now as I'm learning.
