This.  On a good day, I might have phrased it more gently, but I likely would have been feeling the same way.  At any rate Mohammad, I certainly vote for keeping the Chagall label.

Hundreds, if not thousands of others are using Chagall's work to promote their products, anywhere from selling copies of his work on canvas, on note cards, keychains, tee shirts, umbrellas, and shopping bags. Probably hundreds of thousands of people are using the work of various other artists. Visit any gift shop of a major art gallery to see hundreds of different products adorned with a copy of a major work by Rembrandt, Renoir, Degas, Monet and others. I can purchase a coffee cup with a reproduction of almost any famous work on it. I am delighted with my jar of Veritas with the Chagall label, almost as much as much as my enjoyment of this fantastic soap, and would enjoy labels using some of his other work or the work of other artists that are in the public domain.

So, I gave the Veritas soap nearly 4 days to cure a bit more and it settled very nicely to a dense cream, almost Valobra Shave cream like in consistency. Scooped about half an almond sized dollop of soap and placed it into my shave bowl. Used a 28mm Yaqi synthetic to whip it up. Hot Damn!! By the shaving gods on Mt. Olympus! A couple drops at a time of agua and this turned into perhaps one of the best lathers mine eyes have ever seen. Dense, thick and so rich. I thought that I was living good with all of the other creations from GD but, I have to say with all honesty that this iteration takes Mo's soap/base building skills to another level. I even think I used a bit more soap than I needed. You can definitely drown this soap out but, it would take a tremendous amount of water to do so. I tried for a bit then just gave up....

The shave? Fantastic, really. Provided excellent cushion, protection and an obscene amount of glide. I used a Dovo SS shavette with a Dovo long insert blade and I usually do a couple cork passes with those as they can be a bit harsh during the first 1-3 shaves. Smooths them out a bit. Well, I played Devil's Advocate and no passes through the cork. Fresh blade and went to work. Effortless and supreme comfort during 2 passes and some touch ups on the chin. Again, just a marvelous shave last night. Cold water rinse and slapped some lather as a post shave finisher. Cleaned my gear and after about a minute or so, rinsed off the lather. What a great skin feel. Hydrated, supple and super smooth.

I thought it couldn't get any better Gents. Dead wrong. Mohammad has upped the ante fellow wetshavers. The soap performs at the highest level that a shaver would require and need in all facets in regards to lather, glide, protection & blah, blah, blah....

I'm not going to anoint it as the Greatest ever as I would need to get at least a week or 2 worths of shaves and see where it takes me but, Damn! It's helluh good!!

I have always preferred Janus to lusso. To me, the lather is denser and the post shave is far superior. This lusso version has changed that. At least with this version, I’d put it on par with Janus in all metrics for me.

Copyright or not, I think it's still in bad taste to take somebody else's artwork, slap it on your soap tub and call it good. Just coming from an artist's perspective...

Like using cloned scents from larger houses.....

Here’s my tub now. As you can see it’s a total disaster. Such an embarrassment to the brand. people are nuts.

It's like ordering a pizza for delivery and it arrives undercooked with a note telling you to pop it in the oven for 20 minutes. "Oh, ok. No big deal. Best pizza ever!"

I, for one, would never order pizza from that place again.

I guess all you fanboys can't see the stupidity in that. Oh well. Enjoy your soup fellas.

EDIT: And to the label issue, sure it's legal, no copyright infringement. Whatever. It's still lame AF to take the cheap, lazy way out and not even do ANY design work (or pay somebody else to) and just rip an image off the internet and slap it on your product as the label. Just my opinion.

Your pizza analogy is fallacious and not really applicable to a tub of soap. However, to further use your analogy in this instance, yes my pizza arrived "undercooked" but then after waiting a few days it was "fully cooked" and delicious.

My tub of Veritas has solidified quite a bit and the performance is really excellent.

Mo has also said he is rectifying the problem.
