The way Mohammad has handled himself in this Veritas “debacle” is exactly why I will continue to buy his products. I don’t care if he chooses to use 100 year old art as the cover for his soap or if used that Sharpie marker to write the name on the tub. Some of you have too much time on your hands or should try harder to be less of a dick about things.

Seems like you and I hold the same belief, good to know some ppl on here use their brain once and a while

Sharpie labels on soupy unfinished liquid soap that slops out onto floor? Once it cures, you're left with less than half a tub of usable soap.

But you're happy to pay top tier artisan prices for that privilege?

Please Enlighten me. Because.... I don't get it.

So I’m guessing you didn’t actually purchase one? Did you purchase this soup?

God forbid we expect better from an "artisan" charging $26 per tub than uncured soap, MSpaint labels over famous artwork. But we're the stupid ones! Talk about cliques, you guys aren't exactly welcoming of dissenting opinions here.

I'm seriously not being flippant, maybe a bit silly Smile According to some interpretation of copyright laws I can do something like the image above, but I have a new label about to get printed for Veritas!

I have been thinking about making strange labels, I'm even shopping for someone to print a Braille label. I definitely will investigate more tactile labels, maybe jars will come with locks so they don't leak Wink

Does it matter? No. It doesn't.

I think that we both agree that I screwed up and violated someone's copyright and I admitted my mistake, I want to move on, and would love to discuss art and aesthetics.

BTW, The label above in Braille is Lemon Gimlet (Primus tallow) - Scent notes: Lemon, Myer Lemon, herbs, gin Accord and woody notes.

It absolutely does - and the people that did purchase it, know why. Enjoy!

This is NOT about cliques or not wanting someone to express their opinion. This is about how we treat other members of this close/tight knit community (LOL). Instead of accusing Mohammad of "STEALING" artwork, why not reach out to him via private message or email with that concern. I am sure he would have been just as accepting of the issue. But that didn't happen because it appears several axes needed to be ground down a bit.
