USPS east coast delays?

2 weeks since my B&M order was shipped and it's out for delivery... Of course "Deliver by" date was updated on USPS website to 7/6 from 6/24 and it's on time! Woohoo  

I just hope everything is there and not damaged.

Yeah, it seemed like, once we inquired as to what the hell they had actually DONE with it, they decided to find it and move it along (though I STILL haven't heard back from Consumer Affairs -.- ). Glad it finally showed up.

That's happened more than once to me.

One that I remember: I had one package "enter" a sorting facility 5 times down in Tennessee. At least I think it was Tennessee. I inquired and miraculously it moved on the next day.

Awesome! It looked like the aftershave had been crushed based on the stains on the outside of the box.

That was my fear when I saw this box, red paint everywhere! I think they just left it on the rain for a week

Oh man. Got another delayed package from the east coast. It's still in NY and it was suppose to be delivered today according to tracking. I want my cold river soap works.

I just placed an order Friday for a 4/8k Norton from SRD. It shipped Saturday, but I have no tracking #. I'm crossing my fingers and praying hard that it will arrive on time and intact.

A gent sent me a check on Monday the 6th. It should have gotten to me on the 9th at the latest. As of Saturday the 11th it still hasn't arrived.

What is truly amazing is that they wonder why folks are moving away from the mail?

The 2nd package that I mentioned in post #2 in this thread still hasn't gotten back to me yet. It's been at least a month.
