You will never hear that from me Freddy! I may gripe toward the end of winter when I've had more than enough, but I actually enjoy the change of seasons and our extremes. I have no idea where you reside, but I have yet to hear of the place I'd rather be other than Maine. Every place else is too hot in the summer or way too wet. I hate the heat; I've had far too much of it. I can always throw more layers on or put another log on the fire and pour another scotch.
I live in San Diego, California, Brian, and the weather is just right for me. I hate extremes of temperature and San Diego, on average, doesn't have them (though there are exceptions, of course, because Mother Nature may be beautiful but she can be quite fickle
). Also, as much as I enjoy visiting the country, I am a big city boy and would go absolutely stir crazy living in a suburb, small town, or village. I can, and do, drive but I am much happier taking the bus or light rail to get around and do it often. On the other hand, if I look out my window, I'm sure as heck not going to be seeing any guinea fowl going by. Pooping pigeons, yes; guinea fowl, no.
Different strtokes and all that.
