TURN n SHAVE BRUSH KNOTS

Hi. any suggestion on best turn n shave brush knot would bw welcome. 28 knot preferably. thanks

Really need more info. Is this your first brush? What are your preferences? Synthetic, badger, boar? Do you like backbone or do you want flimsy? Super soft tips or a bit of scratch to them. Etc...

Turn n' Shave turns brush handles and installs knots, but Milton does not produce their own knots AFAIK. If you go to the ETSY web store, select the "Tip Knot". Then on the page, open the link for the description of this item. Milton explains the differences in his knots. If you communicate with Milton directly, he can alter the amount of "gel tip" treatment on the knots.
Milton also offers a variety of synthetic knots if you are interested.

Selection of a shaving brush knot is usually a matter of personal preference. Some people like fan knots, others like bulb shaped knots. Some people like dense knots; others like them floppy. Milton can also adjust the knot loft to your preference by controlling how deeply the knot is set into the handle. The shorter the loft, the less floppy the brush will be.

I have three Turn n Shave brushes, but they are all synthetic. Perhaps, I will add one of Milton's badger offerings to my collection this year.

I only have experience with his synthetics.

He's been hand tying badger knots for a couple years now. They're great. Starting a new batch any time now with the next drop...

Yep, Milton does make his own knots. Might still be treating boar knots too. Reach out to him and ask your questions. He has ever impetus to put you on the right path.

Milton has been hand-tying knots for a couple of years at this point. I have a handful of his hand-tied brushes and enjoy them all.
