I haven't been over to TSN lately but was a wet shaving infy spot to hit at times.
I won't be wondering why it's not working now.

I once made a BST post and did not write my purchase price.
(As if it matters.)
In 2 seconds, some concerned party shows up saying: you have
committed the infraction of not writing the purchase price. It is a rule that
you mention the purchase price for a contemporary item blah blah blah.
All that was missing was sirens going off.

Some of the earlier content was very informative when I was researching wolfman
though. Engagement had tanked in recent times.

Anyway it's not really a demise. I see it more as a cessation.

I began posting there again a bit lately, but very few members were active there.

I had more than 7700 posts on TSN, so I was one of the active members from 2012-2017

I joined Shavenook after being banned from B&B back in 2012, and I felt it was a great place with a lot of members I respected - but now its gone.

A bit surprised Phil just closed it like that without letting some of us old members know it in advance.

I never had problems with moderators on TSN the way I had problems with some B&B moderators.

RIP TSN

All, I've spoken to Phil and he gave me the OK to post the following. The reason TSN shut down is because he, along with 187 businesses in his area, are being sued for ADA compliance stuff.

Just sad that's the reason. Hope if that fellow is trying to milk the system he gets slapped hard. I saw issues with TSN, but it was nothing like B&B. That place takes the cake.

Phil, like many others, are fighting the lawsuit.

This sounds ridiculous to me as a Dane.

Suing people over having a website that’s not accessible for disabled people.

I wonder if the guy who sued is even into traditional wet shaving. I wish the issue is investigated and if found suing wrongfully, he should be sued back.. Not just by Phil but also by all the ex-members of TSN.

P.S: Bugger should just start growing beard instead.

I enjoyed the forum - it was my first - but I found them to be a bit insular.

He did not say why in the post. I assume that it's because the form has been kind of slow lately.

When one silences debate/dissent, free exchange of ideas is chilled.
