Top 3 favorite DE razors

1. Wolfman WR1 .94 OC SS
2. Wolfman WR2 1.55 SB Ti
3.Charcoal Goods Level 3 SB Copper

Top 3 is difficult. Top 5 would be easier. But since you're forcing me...

1. Gillette Fatboy (Mine is Rhodium plated with custom blade gaps set a bit larger than normal thanks to Razor Emporium )
2. Haircut & Shave Co Ti 1.30 (Special thank you to andrewjs18 for this one. It's the one from the pass around)
3. Stirling ST (Number 165 from the actual Made in the USA lot).

There are probably 3 others that I own that I wouldn't want to part with. The rest of my rotation I enjoy, but I wouldn't miss them too much if they were gone.

2. Yates Precision "H" Plate
3. Tie between Rockwell 6s Plate 5 and H&S N075

I need more time with the N075 to know if it unseats the mindless shaves of the 6s

Updating with current 3

1) GE Jones Shake Sharp MK-2

2) Blackland Blackbird Titanium

3) Rockwell 6s Plate 5 or 6

Don't know why I do these as it can change based on memory of what I have and what I've used recently (TOO MANY Razors)

Modern in no particular order:
1) Blackbird Titanium (I preferred the machined finish)
2) Rockwell 6S (Polished)
3) Timeless .95 OC (Crown Handle)

Vintage in no particular order:
1) Shake Sharp MK2
2) Gillette Executive (Rhodium)
3) Gibbs #17 Adjustable

Well, in defense of doing the lists Dave, I'd say if you see yourself putting something on the lists over and over, you're then using it often and likely enjoying it... Hence it belongs here.

In that line of thinking... I see the polished Rockwell a lot. It must be somewhere in your top choices.

True and fair enough and it is one that will probably never leave. On the other hand, I have been close to posting the Blackbird many times and this is my 3rd I've owned. Shaves great but others do it as well for less coin in my opinion. I guess it's just me struggling to put a list together. The old saying, "It's not you(the list), it's me"

Absolutely!

In similar thinking... for me, my razors are tools. Heck, I try to drown them every other day... ritualistic waterboarding. If I bought a $500 razor, my cheap nitpicking side would never let me actually use it. Lol.

So you're comment was all I needed to push me over the edge. I'll be posting the Blackbird Ti for sale when I get a chance to get pics etc.......

For DE razors I only have 2 I use on a semi-regular basis that can be classified as favorites.

1. Famex - vintage French made adjustable
2. Shake Sharp - only vintage DE that is a single edge and doesn't require the blade to be broken in half.

I figured I'd come back and revisit this. The Famex is still up there but the Shake Sharp has fallen out of favor. I still like it and own the razor in question but it has fallen into the rarely used bin. Nothing thus far has jumped in to take it's place.
