I apologize for posting non shaving issues, but again I send my regards to Gareth from Handlebar Barbershop & Apothecary who is a major member of this blog. His community of Thousand Oaks California experienced the terrible mass shooting leaving a dozen dead. However, today his community is experiencing devastating fires which has claimed dozens of homes.
Gareth I'm thinking of you and you and you family stay safe.

Yeah, I added a like to Tidepool's post shortly after he posted it then just saw on the evening news about the devastating fires in the area, again. Immediately thought of Gareth and his shop, and his friends, family and customers. No doubt some will have been affected directly or indirectly from one or both events. Fingers crossed things are okay for you Gareth!

I am not a member of Twitter so I thank you for posting this message. Hard to believe we were going to be evacuated lats night and we are in the flatlands of the western San Fernando Vally approximately 14 miles from his barber shop. Again thanks.

The problem is that we've been getting some strong Santa Ana winds that are expected to stick around for the next couple days, so it really spreads the fire (and smoke) quickly and makes it so dangerous with embers being picked up and spread all over. Really a horrible couple of days for the Thousand Oaks community with the shooting and then the fires... I have a bunch of friends and clients that have been displaced from the different areas affected by the fires, I feel so bad for them.
