I see nothing on the website related to Ti

Maybe. I know I'm going to get a ton of requests for the 101mm and the OC. But the reality is that very few people actually buy these options despite the vocal minority who love them. It doesn't matter quite as much in SS because it's less expensive and sells (probably) better than Ti. But Ti is so damn expensive to make (really, really expensive) that it's important to keep this offering limited to what actually sells. While we're on the topic, it's also possible that the 101mm handle dies again altogether, but that's a discussion for another day.

I was one of that vocal minority. I had a machine finish with the long handle, and picked up a black one with the short handle after the long were discontinued.

I reached out to Shane but he wasn't producing them at that time.

Within a year or so my infatuation with 100mm handles was over, and 90mm or less is now my preference.

Funny how things evolve.

Thank you, Celestino! I think it’s decidedly out of many (most?) budgets so I completely understand. This is definitely at the very high end. Then we’re going in the opposite direction next.

Shane, have you found with the Blackbird that you have to add pressure with the Ti compared to the SS? Looking forward to ordering one next week!

I probably do, but it’s not conscious. It’s a really easy and natural-feeling razor. I don’t really think about technique with it.

Hmmm, does that mean the Injector will be in the 'competitive with Supply Razor' price range?

Side note: if the bigger AC single edge razor is named the Vector, shouldn't the smaller Injector single edge razor be named the Tangent?

Shane,
Any idea when you will have the Blackbird SS polished SB plates ready? I need to order one to see how it shaves vs my OC plate. Then I can save up for the TI.

The next razor isn’t an injector. No ETA for that yet.

I don’t know. We have to start over on the Blackbirds due to shipping damage on the last batch we had prepared.

Fingers crossed that the Ti Blackbird will be offered in OC at some point as well, I love having the option for several days growth.
