You could always get the Ti version coated in black Cerakote.  Smile

Is it possible to make that??

You would have to buy the Balckbird Ti, firstly, then send it to someone/business that does the cerakote. That is what I was referring to, initially. Sorry, if I hadn't made that clear.

Also, you could have it anodized in some other color. But as with the Cerakote option, you’d have to get the Blackbird Ti first, and then find someone who can add to the original finish. So far, I’ve seen one that was anodized blue, and it looks great.

Gentlemen, I posted a more detailed review of the Titanium Blackbird - here - for anyone interested.

Really, it is more of an homage to two things. The first is the design of the Blackbird, which is genius, in my opinion. The second is Shane's business practices, which I greatly admire.

We are really privileged to be able to interact with him here on DFS.

Shane,
How has the Vector prototype in titanium shaved? Do you think it has enchanced the experience as it has for the Blackbird?

You’re too kind, Ali. Thank you for the support and for the well-written Reddit post!

There isn’t a Vector Ti prototype yet so I’m not sure. I imagine the impact will be noticeable, but less severe than with the Blackbird.

I just had my 1st shave with the Ti Blackbird. It's Simply Brilliant and I prefer it MUCH more than the Stainless Steel version. It's lightweight characteristic make the Bird very nimble and it encourages a light touch resulting in an even smoother operator. Imo the Titanium feels gentler  than the Stainless steel version, especially Against The Grain. Ti Bird exceeded my high expectations and It delivered a Great Shaving Experience! After 3 passes, (I really only needed 2 passes) the Blackbird Ti left my face smooth as glass.

Outstanding Razor, and I'm very happy with the Titanium Blackbird.

My last razor purchase of this year was the titanium Blackbird a couple days ago. It won’t be shipped until next week which is fine with me.

With every use my appreciation of the new Ti Bird is only growing. It is also fun to alternate between the Ti and other materials and finishes Birds. Different but equally pleasant experiences and the results are always stellar.

Blackland Razors Shane who would have thought the hardware business had such good revenue recurrence? Smile
