Interesting take!  I found the 38 gap bronze to be noticeable step less efficient than the SS68SB head.  Would you agree with that?

I could agree with that.  But I feel the Aluminum is more aggressive than the Bronze IMO and even better than the .68.  YMMV but I am impressed so far!  Plan to use it all week just to be sure it’s not the new shiny object obsession.  Did find I don’t have to do the buffing as I do with the Bronze or either SS head to get a BBS shave.

Definitely want to hear the report back from the weeks shave!

Third shave and even better yet! Secret is no pressure, let the razor do it’s thing! Still loving the razor and IMO it’s a winner. Smooth, BBS shave with no buffing. Timeless has done it again with a great razor!

I received this razor a week ago.
Don't let the blade gap fool you.....this is an aggressive razor.
I have a Merker, an Edwin Jagger, and Timeless in both stainless and bronze, plus a couple of Gilette vintage razors.... to MY skin THIS is the most aggressive razor I own.
The first time I used it I ended up with five or six "weepers" (first time ever with a safety razor).
The second time I was more careful and had just one.
The third time I used hardly any pressure, and as stated above....don't force it. No nicks.
That shave was great. I'm liking the light weight too.
It's the ONLY razor I have that I can clean under my nose properly with. Others just can't get in there like this one. The "head" seems smaller for some reason, even though it looks the same as the stainless and brass versions. It's more maneuverable. I can get in tighter places with this razor than my other safety razors.

The only thing I can see, that makes this so aggressive for such a small blade gap, is that, to my eye, the gap may be smaller but MORE of the razor's edge is exposed...it protrudes further out, than the other razors I have.
Don't expect a "mild" shave. I was surprised the first time I used it

My recommendation...buy it, try it and be careful on the first shave.
If you want a light, maneuverable, aggressive razor....this is the one.
Everyone is different though, this is my take on it only.
To me it's probably going to be my favorite shaver.

I would agree!  I also have the Bronze and SS and it may become my overall favorite too!

I am to lazy to use two razors while I shave. But I'm sure you are getting an amazing shave!

Hello. Interesting razor. For me it's more aggressive than RR Lupo and Standard Razor. First shaving today with Astra SP and A&E soap, - got 2 small nicks. Yes, very good shave under nose! The only sad thing is quality - too many scratches on razor's head.
