I've named this post Aion Method vs Basic Technique.
After three decade plus in wet shaving communities, I'm sure of this.
Avarage people do not read, and do not apply the basic technique.
Always looking for products, when the focus should be the technique.
Because as always ...
"Technique trumps tools".

Very nice. Maybe add the main points too about basic technique.
- Prepare the shave
- Hydrate enough the soap
- Use the personal face mapping
- Use the other hand to stretch the skin
- Use the passes consciously
- Control the cutting angle

What are they?

Really?!?!?! Maybe It just needs more time / water / work ...

Holy words. Applyable not just on the internet ...
Chritical thinking should be always the way.

Not sure. I've chronic dermatitis, before undertanding and applying a good technique I've tried tons of products.
Good prep helps
a little for sure,
but does not solve the problem.
In the last 25yrs I've not this issue anymore.
Even without pre or post treatment ... with a good soap.

Holy words.
I'd like to add ... studying and understanding
before what It is.

Me too. Several poll in the last two decades. It's always fun.
They show the same result. People (mostly) do not read, and do not know / use a proper technique.
This way many lovely products are misunderstood, and other are overvalued.
