Hahaha!  Personna.  Crazy wild mouse track.  Let's add Crystals into the mix too.  Wow, so hard to understand.

Actually, I'd rather forget Israeli Reds...I couldn't find a razor they worked in. Not a good blade for me, at all.

Day three and both blades are hanging tough.  Smooth shave today and I think the etched blade felt smoother but who knows.  It's obvious to me these two are closely related.

I'm using one this week in the Rockwell 6s / 4.  It works for me on a number of razors.

I know I'm likely in the minority. I wanted to like them and I tried, I just couldn't. With so many reasonably priced, readily available blades, I PIF'd them.

I'm with LOOT on this.
Tried and don't like Israeli Reds at all.
Even my Mamba hates them!
Lab Blues though are a different story.
Very nice smooth blade that lasts well.

As long as you're happy with what you have that's the main thing.  I checked my blade stash and was down to 3 5 packs of Israeli Reds so I ordered a 100 count from WCS.  Happy2

There are plenty of Israeli made blades and they all seem pretty good.  Vikings Sword is one of them that I like, pretty much all of the Personnas and I even tried some oddball brands like Edison and Q-Ball and they were pretty good but not good enough to displace any of my favourites.

I have a theory that all of the blades made in Israel are identical with different packaging and stamps on the blades as some kind of twisted psych experiment intended to mess with our minds and draw us into endless discussions on the relative merits of the "different" blades and then eventually some maniacal Dr. Evil type character will reveal it all and mock wet shavers endlessly.  Gillette is behind it. Big Grin

Very interesting morning with these blades with the white wrapped kinder-printed showing a marked roughness compared to the etched blue wrapped.  Even swapped face sides between passes to see if my prep was weird.  It was not.  One blade was rougher.  Let's see what tomorrow brings.[Image: estktAG.jpg]

I've wondered the same thing about all of the blades made in Russia.
