Thanks Dave! I'm really glad I found that one. Went back to the same cigar shop yesterday and there was a younger guy behind the counter. Like last time I asked if they sold empty cigar boxes, but he went back and grabbed a few instead of letting me back there like the last guy did. He brought out a few really nice ones, and when I asked how much he just told me to take them. Knowing the sheer quantity they have back there I'd still like to go back and pick my own, but I can't complain about the price.

Agreed! That razor is a stunner and the Greenfresh is about as good as it gets for a soap.
Sounds like a stellar Saturday shave.

The Greenfresh is fantastic. I can see that being a Summer 3017, it's that good.

Thanks Ken! I love that combination, and I've been on the lookout for some more black boxes.

Thanks Tim!

Thanks Mike! I'm practically collecting cigar boxes at this point so let me know if you'd like one made.

Yeah, but the cheerleaders usually die a lot louder than the red shirts lol.

Razor: Robert Williams SRP
Brush: Sorrentino Turquoise
Cream: AoS Lavender
Aftershave: Ethos Grooming Lavender

Sometimes a straight lavender is just the way to go. AoS are some of the best performing creams I've used, and the scents are always great. Broke out the Williams for today's shave and I really wish I'd been using a honing journal when I did this one. I'm almost positive it was either lapping film or one of the first successes on the Jnat. Either way the edge is marvelous and it handles great. Three passes and a bit of clean up left me with a fantastic BBS, and a nice amount of Ethos Lavender capped it off nicely. The Ethos lavender is just a wonderful earthy lavender that I can see using a lot, and it performs like every other Ethos product I've used, which is to say amazing.

I've always liked the look of those SRP/Williams razors.  Very Skippy.

Razor: Gillette New type(?) long comb
Blade: Wizamet
Brush: Switchback 400 w/Gelousy knot
Soap: PAA Atomic Age Bay Rum
Aftershave: PAA Atomic Age Bay Rum

I've been going through the den deciding what to sell in the upcoming purge, and decided to give all my DE's and SE's one more go before determining whether or not to add them to the list. I'm not nearly as well versed in DE's as I am in straight razors, but I believe this one is a Gillette New, and I'm still trying to remember for certain how I acquired it lol. Either way, after today's shave this one goes firmly in the "keep" column. It was a pretty mild razor, but was also incredibly efficient, and I got one of the best shaves of my life from it. Two passes and some clean up left me with a marvelous BBS. Atomic Age Bay Rum also one of my favorites scents and only added to a fantastic experience, with the soap creating a marvelous surface for the New to slide over and a hefty glug of aftershave to cap it all off.

Love my new long comb but mine has the other handle and was reading through to see if you were selling that one LOL because I would have added it to my Den for sure. Good call on keeping it!
