I like my CRSW Jardin D'Orange very much and use it for special occasions paired with Hermes D'Orange Verte. I wouldn't mind having more CRSW, but there are so many others to try. I haven't tried B&M or Nuavia yet, so I can't compare them. I can't bring myself to collect soaps; once purchased, I have a compulsion to use them up. I have too many (8, mostly classics) right now, so I will have to wait a while before venturing further into the realm of luxury soaps. Despite my best efforts, I can't get a little tub of Cella to go away. I believe the exclusive use of synthetic brushes is hampering my efforts.

As I stated earlier in this thread Nuavia soaps have become my #1 soap, but I'm curious about its little brother... You know the line that comes in the plastic tubs.
Does anyone have any experience with these? And if so, how do they compare to the premium Nuavia line?

Dinder1 Yes, when I purchased my latest jar of Nuavia, I got a couple tubs of the normal line. The scents and soaps aren't quite the same quality, since Nuavia is something truly special, but I would put them on par with some of the best of the artisans (behind Glissant, ahead of most other products). They perform with no frills and shave very well, and the clay ingredient seems to condition and tighten the skin nicely (I love slathering on the excess lather at the end of the shave, sort of like a mask). I really enjoy them. For people who enjoy clean and fresh scents, I'd advise that they try the Namaste variety. Overall, I've had a very positive experience with the PannaCrema regular line and find them worthy of a test, for sure.

Din, the regular line of soaps from Panna Crema are very nice. I found them to offer very good qualities comparable to many other American artisanal soaps.
Personally, I found them to be a tad expensive with shipping from Italy as I could get my favourite soap for less.

Tom Slick, Stick with CRSW. I am not using any artisans in 2016 (year of Haslinger) but you should try more of the CRSW, especially the V2 and Oliva.
I still think the commercially made soaps (Haslinger, Valobra/Czech & Speake, Tabac are superior products to the artisans.

If I had to choose though, Cold River's V1 and V2 are far and away the best artisan soaps on the market.
It will be fun to try them again in 2017.

While I enjoy CRSW Oliva occasionally , two of the V2 soaps and four of the V1 soaps that I tried made my face burn... The lather that I was able to generate with CRSW was very good, but it is still in my opinion not as good as the lather that I can get with B&M (especially Glissant formula) soaps or Nuavia. So I let my CSRW go... Good thing is that my sons liked it Smile

Edit: Forgot to mention that the aftershave feel that B&M soaps provide is only comparable (IMO but YMMV) to Nuavia. They are both my #1 in their own categories (Veggie and tallow).
