Would like more options for handle colors on the T1 and even the T2.  T3 is way bigger knot than I prefer.

I understand.I would not object to that at all. I was just thinking of a smaller Trafalgar today as I brush loaded off a puck. A smaller knot might be easier. I never really paid much attention to knot size.

I started with the T3 since that seemed the most popular and then bought the T2 and T1 and I just prefer smaller knot brushes.  It was a couple years before I tried boar and then badger.

Unfortunately, the prices are also "upped". Lol. £45... or $57 USD. Ouch. Still, some darn nice handles.

Thanks for that.  I do have the T2 in cyclone but haven't seen that marble one from Simpsons before.

Ah, very cool. I missed out on 4 different nice LE T3 brushes a while back. They were marked down to about $25 each but I just didn't have the loot. The Sunspot Orange and the Moonjava are the 2 I would really like to find again. They do currently have the Moonjava in a synth Chubby 2 for around $100. It would have been cool to have them and have a nice T3 collection.

I haven't checked Simpsons site as I'm trying to avoid shipping over seas.  Any sightings of a T1 in a special color by chance?

Just this one in Faux Tortoiseshell. About $56 plus shipping. When I checked it was I believe around $25 to ship the 4 I looked at. Why don't we just fly over there to pick them up personally then go see Priest live? Haha!!!

I was so glad to see they offered color options now. I picked up the Sapphire and it was beautiful. They really did a nice job IMO. Unfortunately, the knot wasn't for me... too scrubby. Still, I think they did their customers a great service getting into this variety. With so many folks loving their brushes, it gives them even more choices.
MrD! Glad you tried one.

Does scrubby mean the tips weren't soft enough? I love the splay and permeability on these babies. Curious regarding your interpretation before I keep recommending them!

I feel that with many synthetics, the tips are soft, but the side of the bristles provide a bit of scrub. It varies depending on the type of bristle.

With the Trafalgar, I felt the tips also had some scritch to them. This made it less comfortable from any angle.

Still, it was good to try it and know. I definitely have sensitive skin. So, my threshold for scratch, blade feel, irritation, etc, falls well below most folks (I think).
I agree, the Trafalgar I have has some scratch. I don't mind it, it's not overload, but definitely noticeable.
