I have used a DE a few times in the last week or so just for a change of pace. Nice collection BTW, whiteboy_cannon. I have to get me one of those Personna injectors. It isn't much of a change for me. I think I have 1-2 DE shaves a week, the rest are SE. And the Personna Injector is the bees knees
I'm in!
So SEptember is going to be a repeat of June, July, and August. I can do that! No problem at all! (I can't remember my last DE shave)
It's actually more of a chore for me to pay attention to DEcember if anyone calls for that. Now that would be difficult and maybe impossible. My hand just gravitates to the SE razors because of the shave quality.
I may need to throw in a SEvette shave though. It's been calling to me. This one was made from an absolutely gorgeous Rhodium plated OCMM that Sharpspine sent to me. While it was beautiful it was missing a blade stop (on the left) and was useless as a safety razor. But that flaw is meaningless with a SEvette.

Yes, I'm serious. Yes, it's a wonderful shave. But not as a test of one's ability, one's either ready and knows it or one isn't. That blade has nothing to stop it from cutting in depth other than the teeth or spine.

I still enjoy using my DEs, just SEs seem to give a shave of the same or higher quality with much less effort and practically no buffing strokes. Welcome aboard. Just keep the SEs on your mind for a whole month.
SEptember 1st
Going to give SEptember a shot as well. Figured a great way to start would be to use the AlumiGoose/Feather Pro Guard blade for the first ever shave. And a GREAT Start it was.
Proraso Green Pre/Post
Plissoft Synthetic 22mm knot in an E Shave handle
Barrister & Mann Night Music
AlumiGoose Black
Feather Pro Guard (Shave 1)
Thayers Superhazel with Proraso Green Pre/post followed with Proraso/Osage Rub splash
