At the request of one of our Facebook fans, we present the backbone demo of the Simpson Special in Best Badger shaving brush.

While I know there are plenty of great brush artisans and other major manufacturers out there, to me, Simpson has always symbolized traditional handmade quality that has withstood the test of time. They are simple, yet elegant in design, highly effective "latherers" and have been a favorite of generations (my family included) of traditional wet shavers.

So here are the pics and a brief description of each:

Soaking, supported by bristle tips in water

After soaking, supported by bristle tips in water in dry bowl.

Lather results after only 30 seconds.

Post use/lathering, supporting an almost full bottle of aftershave balm.

Jerry, are you referring to the bowl? If so, it is a Fine Accoutrements Lather bowl, which we also sell!
