Tabula Rasa Steampunk. It reminds me of old books in an old library. Not only is the scent great but the soap is awesome too.

OK, next time I use SteamPunk I will engage the grey cells to see if old books come up - as I said, I like Steampunk and I like old books but I think you guys must hang around slightly nicer smelling bookshops than me Smile

Let's put it this way. It doesn't remind me of Barnes & Noble. Big Grin

I have to agree with Mark, also.
I don't get the scent of old books from either Steampunk or Baudelaire.
There is a bit too much complexity going on in both soaps, especially, the latter and the underlying sweetness has no connection to books whatsoever, for me. However, YMMV. Shy

I definitely didn't get that smell from CFG sherlock, which is the only one mentioned that I have smelled. It struck me as more of a bag of old wet grass that just got scraped out of the mower deck. YMMV Rolleyes

That's right, nothing like Barnes. The first time I smelled it I was reminded of the old bookstore in the small town I grew up in. It was that smell of old books and old hardwood floors. The more I used it the more it started smelling more complex than an old bookstore and started to smell like something industrial. One thing is for certain, it is the most unique scent I have ever smelled, which is saying a lot considering the uniqueness of some of my favorite B&M scents.
