I'm taking advantage of this thread coming back to life ,as I want to purchase the WR1 .94. Does anybody know what blade exposure the WR1.94 has and if it's smaller or near the exposure of the 1st generation Charcoal Goods Level 3?
The Charcoal Goods  it's my absolutely favorite razor and I want to find "that one" razor that comes near its specifications and way it shaves.
Thanks!

So if you followed this thread from the beginning ... James Dufour used vintage Gillettes to guide him in blade gaps. Above the Tie has a blade gap comparison, which is helpful if you've had experience with the examples they use to illustrate the gaps.

I've got a WR1 0.94 DC and it is quite efficient. I have CG Lvl 3 in SB, and OC, and the 0.94 WR1 is comparable. I never consciously compared one with the other while shaving, so I can't draw a firm conclusion beyond either will get you where you want to go.
Thanks for your feedback
From what I know the gap is slightly bigger on the side of the Wolfman, with the level 3 having the same gap as the level 2.That's why I was asking about the "exposure" .
The blade forward -geometry of the Level 3 is what I like and what I am looking for.
I have read a few opinions, including yours, that they are pretty similar ...just wanted to have some numbers on the "chapter" exposure so that I can compare -beside of the subjective shaving experience.
I guess, after all, that the WR1 .94 will be my "next one". It's the only one ,from what I have read, that comes near the Level 3

I was curious so worked out the exposure for the .94 gap.

The closest would be a .98 which is 0.32mm and yes, the .94 is the not the limit. I've seen a 1mm gap for sale.

Any idea what the original CG lvl 3 geometry was? It's clearly different from the latest razors - levels 2 and 3 now have different gaps. I have shaved with a level 3 DC but years ago so can't offer a reliable comparison. I still have the .94 but much prefer a milder gap nowadays. Or a WR3.

That 1mm OC Copper was a Sensation when it landed on the BST. Especially because James has refused to make a custom 1mm years ago for other guys,by telling that the geometry of the WR1 wouldn't allow a 1mm gap. Well,it seems that..the impossible was made.
The exposure on the CG is also a small "mystery".. Brian spoke on a small interview for "The Sharpologist" that the he doesn't find sharing the Info about gap and exposure relevant and that's why he didn't...made it.
With the last generation (which is a delusion for me)seems that he changed his mind and all the Infos are on his site now..
Well now we have a... number for the Wolfman, maybe some Infos for the Level 3 will land sooner or later.
Thanks a lot!
