I think my wife uses a lady gillette DE that I got for her. she has a brush and some soap, though I'm not sure if she's been using it lately or not...she might just use regular bar soap, to be honest..

Get my wife into my "weird obsession in shaving?"  No, not likely.

My wife uses whatever cheap disposable she finds on sale with Barbasol Aloe foam in the can.  The Barbasol Aloe shaving cream in the can is actually not too bad for a canned foam.  I still prefer my shaving soaps and lathering creams.  You know, it's all part of my "weird obsession in shaving."   Rolleyes

Mine poked fun at me for awhile. Curiosity when all her children joined the ranks finally pushed her over the top. That and a cute Lady Gillette made it acceptable. She likes a more aggressive razor now and I point it out when she comments on a soaps slickness or post shave. Patience and you will win.

My wife's hair is so fine and blonde she only needs to shave about once a month. I tired talking her into letting me get her a nice razor but she isn't interested. She doesn't bother me about my habit though. I bought her a $200 engraved bottle of her favorite perfume as a little extra insurance though. :-)

Awe those ladies! In about an hour my bride will be getting up and ready for the day. Today is a "shave day" and often I'll sit in there and visit while she showers. Weird place for pillow talk I know but I kind of dig this chick. I often make a lather for her and today it'll be Stirling Witchy Woman. 30 years together and it keeps getting better. I'm a lucky guy even if she calls me her lather slave.

The only Lady in my life is my daughter. She shaves her legs and pits, but she uses Bic disposables. I have offered to show her how to use my Superspeed or my V3, but she doesn;t care. She's 13, and she uses whatever soap is in the shower, and whichever Bic is within reach.

Every once in a while I can get her to pick out my soap and splash, but even that is too much hassle for a 13 year old Drama Queen, starting 8th grade, and way too cool for my old-skool habits...

Maybe someday...

I will say he gets a kick out of watching me use a straight though. Unfortunately, I think half of that enjoyment comes from her quiet hope that she will get to laugh at me bleeding...

Thanks for making me smile BadDad , I have a daughter and your daughter sounds very much like her.  She's very sensitive and loving beneath a spiny exterior protective covering.  She is 20 now and at university studying Nursing, she hasn't really mellowed all that much but thats OK, any young man interested in her will have to be very determined.  Grade 8 is a stressful time for young women (Young men too) and I'm sure her attitude is partly fitting in with peers and partly protecting herself from them.  I have NO FOND MEMORIES of grade 8.

Mine is pretty stubborn. I don't think I'm going to win.

My wife and eldest daughter have always been cart shavers. Never had any interest in my shave habits...until they found themselves out of carts a few days ago, and borrowed my Goldtone Eversharp Travel Razor. Yeah, I know it's a "lady's razor" but dang it, it gives a good shave and travels well. I think they are quite fond of it now.

maybe we should all start hiding their cartridge refills to force them to use our DE & SE razors? Big Grin
