I think most of us (especially myself) would be greatly disappointed if the head is made of zamak. However considering the price point he range of $50-100, it’s understandable and would be in line of other zamak adjustable razors such as Merkur Progress, Parker Variant, Rockwell Model T, etc. At least the top head cap screw appears to be made out of brass. If that part was zamak -I’d pass, but it isn’t and so I’d buy it. The shave quality aspect is most important and if it delivers like the Gibbs, -Hurray! we got a winner.

This Gibbs replicas should be getting close to a finished product it looks like. Maybe it won't be too long now.
