I just wanted to post an introduction to myself. For the last 10 years or so, I've been shaving with traditional soap and brush. For about 7 years it was with the same brush. It's still my favorite and when I found out it was Zenith in Italy who made it and no one was selling their brushes in the U.S., I got the brilliant idea to start importing them.

The brush that started it all is on the left:

I've bought and sold on ebay since 1999 and I've maintained an excellent seller rating there. My goal is to provide excellent Italian made brushes some soaps from Shannon (a local to me soapmaker), and some cool vintage razors.

Please realize that while this is a side venture for me, I will be as responsive and attentive as possible. I've had many years of enjoyment from my Zenith, and I hope you get to opportunity to try one also.

I am currently selling these brushes, soaps from Shanon's Soaps, and antique razors here on ebay
My webite is www.thegentleshave.com

In the meantime, here are some pictures of the brushes I'm selling:

The first is a handcrafted ceramic handled silvertip badger brush:

And some synthetics:

I have a Zenith boar brush that I bought from a fellow in Australia a few years ago.  When I saw this DFS vendor I was excited to get another one. These are great brushes. Looking forward to using it when it gets here next week.

Thanks for the purchase. I'll be sending the boar and synthetic out Monday morning.

Evidently Joe at the Italian Barber is now importing RazoRock rebranded Zenith brushes.

Has anyone tried the Zenith synthetics? If so, how do they compare to the Plisson pour L'Occitane synthetics as far as face feel and backbone? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I have one on the way and will let you know.  For me Plisson & EJ are the best synthetics I've tried (EJ XL is my favorite).  I really look forward to trying the Zenith.
