jankdc I recently learned of Zenith brushes and have the good fortune of experiencing some models on loan. Wanting to learn more and locate a Zenith vendor in the US, the magic of Google this morning revealed The Gentle Shave website as well as this DFS thread.

I would love to know if the copper handle will develop a patina over time?

If it helps, this is a copper B28 with about 3-4 years worth of patina. I never polished it or anything. I just wipe the handle dry when I'm done shaving.

Thegentleshave is the only place I know to get Zenith's in the US, but they are expensive. It's cheaper to buy from yourshaving.com in Spain, and have it shipped here. However, there are some models that only thegentleshave carries.

That's the best looking patina I've ever seen on these copper handles. A lot of brushes I've seen look like they were put up damp and developed blotches and streaks, which is okay if you're into that look.

Thanks! I always dry it before putting it away, and try to not touch the handle after I've wiped it dry.
I also let it patina naturally. No chemicals nor any other artificial methods to speed up the process.
I can't wait for it to develop those green/blue colors.
