Hello, it is a different angle than the OREN this is more like Shaving with a straight razor or the Original Classic Cobra. It is just like a Classic Cobra shave.

I sent you 2 messages about Enoch and havent received any answer from you. Could you check the inbox?

I’ve sent 3 or 4 messages about the new stainless brush handle and have not received one response. He used to respond pretty quick but things seem to have gone dark. Very interesting!

How about cutting Luke some slack?!
He's waiting for word and product from China.
Pending product, there is nothing more to say.
All there is left to do now, is wait for a slow boat from China to arrive.
Got any better ideas?

I kind of agree with draebeard on this one. The product wasn't to spec when they sent him the final pre-production model and to make matters worse, with the turn around time in shipping to correct it in that time frame there's a Chinese holiday for a week or two that nearly the whole country shuts down and is at a standstill. It sucks for sure for us but, I'm sure Mr. Webster ain't a happy camper himself with the delay. No manufacturer wants to tell potential consumers that there will be a delay in product delivery when a tentative date was given previously. Pardon my french but, "shit happens" tied in with bad luck in the timing of it. What can one do?

I'm sure he'll come through Gents. Just a bit more patience and we'll hear something in a couple more weeks.

If he is just waiting, then he has time to respond. This makes me worry that the guy is dealing with a manufacturer that thinks the product quality is good enough and doesn’t want to do more without additional payment. China is a lot better than it used to be, but you still run into some really sketchy suppliers on occasion. Hope all is okay.

Well, the issue was corrected as Mr. Webster did receive the updated razor with the kinks worked out of it. I think it was just the timing of the holidays and shipping time frame to approve and get production ramped up. For all we know and of course all of this is speculation, they could be all out in a full throttle production run. The razors could be fully finished and now is just a question of inspection or total q/c procedures on all items produced. We also have to take into account that there was a 3rd razor in the Occam’s series that was supposed to be in cue as well for a production run. I’m not saying what you stated isn’t valid, in truth we just don’t know. As you though, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that all is proceeding well and soon product will come to market.....

Hello Everyone,

Just a quick update with video of the Enoch Razor and Packaging.  China seems to be on time (they always tell you that).  I have been dealing with this factory for a while so I have a decent relationship. We got the new samples in that are brushed and they look very nice.  We just got the Boxes in today and I have been waiting for that to do a video and let you all see the packaging.

Here is a link to the Enoch video:

We also just got in the new boxes for the Occam's Safety Razor.  This is a very nice lil razor that is getting some glowing reviews. You can check it out here:

Thank you again for the patience and the support on this project.  Have a great evening.

Regards,
Luke

It is crazy that a razor with three 316 SS base plates and two caps are only $65.
I always like to send my straight razors to CS for restoration or honing service, they are very fast and pretty good.
Good luck for your sale... Smile

On the "on time" thing, I had to laugh. I work with China a lot, and there is a term, 马上, which technically means immediately or right away, but in practice can be anything from five minutes to three hours. Especially annoying when you are dealing with a deliver person who says he will be there "right away". Similarly, when used in conjunction with "I am just downstairs", it can mean "I am downstairs from your office building ... halfway across the city."

Thanks for the updates.

I wanted to highlight that the open comb on the double edge razor is amazing and unique. Nowadays, there is so much choice that aesthetics are a huge part of the selection criteria. This one is really nice, and I would suggest you have a picture on the product page with this head attached. It's an eye-catcher! I have not seen anything like it in other modern razors.
