The Creation Story of OneBlade: As Told by Founder Porter Stansberry

Just released was a podcast episode by host Mike Dillard of the popular 'Self Made Man' show. This episode was all about the creation of the OneBlade from the founder of the company, Porter Stansberry. He begins with the initial idea, then goes on to development failures and successes, hiring the design team and CEO, sourcing materials, testing, funding, and what it takes to create and maintain a successful business. But mostly, it is all about shaving.

Even if you do not own a OneBlade, or do not plan to buy one, you should find the show fascinating, as it really gets into all the nitty-gritty of what it takes to create and market a modern razor.

I feel the same way, rawfox1. Knowing the back story of a cherished possession gives it more meaning, and helps you not take it for granted. Especially with a razor like this, with years of R&D, and the very best materials and design behind it! I just find the million little details about what goes on behind the scenes here fascinating...
